SUMMARY:My Brother's Keeper
DESCRIPTION:Not far from Trinity Lutheran Church can be found many who are experiencing homelessness. Responding to God’s love for us\, each month\, a ministry team from our church visit the residents of My Brother’s Keeper in Flint to encourage them with conversation\, a hot meal\, and the Word of God. \n\n\n\nWe invite you to help us in this act of love to our neighbors in Flint. Help is needed in the following areas: \n\n\n\n\nJoin us to visit with and serve the residents of My Brother’s Keeper.\n\n\n\nDonate a needed food item. A list of items is posted each month on the church lobby bulletin board.\n\n\n\nMake a financial donation. Donations can be placed in the regular offering plate. Please indicate on the envelope or memo line of your check that the gift is for MBK.\n\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in joining us or helping in person\, please contact the church office. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMinistry Schedule\n\n\n\n5:00 p.m. – Meet at Trinity\, load vehicles\, carpool to MBK5:30 p.m. – Arrive at MBK. Set up. Prepare to serve.6:00 p.m. – Devotion/worship service6:15 p.m. – Serve meal to MBK residents. Visit with residents.6:45 p.m. – Clean up. Pack vehicles. Return to Trinity.7:15 p.m. – Arrive at Trinity. Return supplies to Trinity kitchen. See you next month!
