The talented and faithful members of our Young Voices of the Lord choir and the Children’s Christmas Musical will be creating hand-made wreaths as a mission project. The proceeds will help purchase warm clothing for residents of My Brother’s Keeper.
I recently learned that the talented and faithful members of our Young Voices of the Lord choir and the Children’s Christmas Musical will be creating hand-made wreaths as a mission project. Each beautiful wreath features four candles, fine greenery, and eye-catching ribbon.
As well as bringing the warmth of the Gospel to your home, these advent wreaths will also help bring warmth to the local homeless. The wreaths are available for a $20 donation which will be used to purchase warm clothing for the men at My Brother’s Keeper homeless shelter in Flint.
If you would like to purchase one of these beautiful wreaths, please visit the display table in the narthex prior to and after each worship service on the weekend of November 15 & 16. The children who are making the wreaths will be available at the table to take your order and answer your questions. Your wreath will be ready for you the following weekend, November 21 & 22. If you have any questions about the wreaths, please contact Trinity’s Music Minister, Bobbie Jo Upton at [email protected].
I find it refreshing and encouraging to see Trinity’s future involved in mission and ministry. Thank you for supporting this mission project of our young singers.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).
