Pipe Organ Improvements Coming

Trinity’s pipe organ has faithfully served countless worship services over the years. The organ includes 18 ranks of pipes and a console with two manuals (keyboards). While the organ has served us well and still sounds beautiful, our congregation decided that it is time for us to make some investments in this timeless instrument.

In a special voters’ meeting held on Sunday, March 22, unanimous approval was given to proceed with contracting Richard Swanson of Grand Ledge, Michigan to begin work on our organ. Work will begin in a couple of months with the installation of a new three-manual console and new digital circuitry. While completion is not expected until early 2027, there will only be two or three weeks when our organ will not be available for services. During this time, hymns will be accompanied by the piano.

As we look forward to these improvements to our pipe organ, we are requesting members and friends of our congregation to consider donating to our organ fund. Donations to the organ fund can be made in a number of ways:

  • Online by clicking here
  • QR code that can be scanned on the preservice slides or on the lobby monitor
  • Check made out to “Trinity Lutheran Church” (*include “organ fund” on the memo line*)
  • Cash (write “organ fund” on the envelope)

Thank you for investing in future worship at our church!
