You’re invited! Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison is celebrating Back to Church Sunday on September 21, 2025. It will be a joyful day of worship, fellowship, food, and encouragement for the whole family.
We’ll gather for worship at 10:00 a.m., followed by a picnic at 11:15 a.m. featuring hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, and plenty of time to reconnect with friends. Members are encouraged to bring a dish to pass; for our guests, the meal is our gift to you!
Our Sunday School teachers will be at the picnic and are eager to meet their students. Kids are encouraged to find their teacher, who will have a Dairy Queen gift card waiting for them! Sunday School classes officially begin the following Sunday, September 28, at 11:15 a.m.
Why come back to church? God calls us into His family not only to worship Him, but also to encourage one another and grow together in His Word. The Bible reminds us:
- “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’” (Psalm 122:1)
- “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together… but encouraging one another.” (Hebrews 10:24–25)
- “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:16)
- “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Whether you’ve been away for a while, are new to the community, or are already a regular part of Trinity, we’d love for you to join us for this special day. Come and be refreshed by God’s Word, encouraged by His people, and reminded that in Christ we are never alone.
Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and come celebrate with us on September 21!
