Bible Verse
Today’s Bible verse was Psalm 113:3, “From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised” (ESV). After our first day of this year’s Wonder Junction VBS we praise God for many things, but especially: every child we were able to share Jesus with; the members of our VBS team – every one of you is a blessing to this ministry; and that the Lord has entrusted us again with the opportunity to serve our community through VBS.

Change Challenge
It’s boys against the girls . . . and for a good cause. All of our Wonder Junction guests are asked to bring some spare change to VBS each day – boys put their change in the blue pail and girls put their change in the pink pail. All donations from this year’s Change Challenge will be given to a local charity at the end of the week.
The teen members of our VBS skit team are watching this competition closely! If the girls win, a boy skit team member gets a pie in the face . . . and vice versa.

Day 2 at Wonder Junction VBS begins at 9:30 a.m. It’s sure to be another exiting day of new memories created through friendships, Bible stories, hands-on crafts projects, and fun games and activities.
